Nursing Aide
Requirements:
- Must have minimum Diploma in Nursing Aide OR Diploma in Midwife (can accept no/expired nursing license).
- Must be able to understand / speak English.
- Must have relevant working experience.
- Must be willing to work on public holidays, night and rest days per schedule.
- Must not have Tuberculosis (TB), cancer and other serious disease before.
- Willing to do all general and basic care duties in Nursing Home including those concerning sanitary ones.
- Must be physically strong to support elderly and sick patients.
- Must be able to speak and write English.
- Must not have visible tattoo on hands and etc.
Duties:
- Perform basic patient care functions such as bathing, dressing, grooming, feeding.
- Assist patients with mobility and positioning with appropriate lifting and transfer techniques.
- Carry out Nasogastric tube feeding, provide simple wound care, install eye drops, apply topical creams as directed by the RN.
- Assist in administering prescribed medication that has already been checked by the RN
- Obtain vital signs and relevant observations, and document accordingly
- Participate as part of a team in the nursing home’s quality assurance programme.
- Follow safe work practices and the policy, procedures and standards set for the nursing home
- Any other ad-hoc duties assigned by home
Salary:
- $900 / month + Housing allowance: $500 / month (stay out) = Total S$1400.
- Food: Provided on working days.
- Night Shift allowance: $15/night.
- Working hours and days: 2 shifts (12 hours, day & night), 44 hours per week.
